Life Beyond is a sci-fi Play & Earn MMORPG developed by Darewise Entertainment, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands. Set on the futuristic Planet Dolos, the game allows players to build new civilizations—shaping societies, economies, politics, and digital ownership in ways that mirror real-world dynamics and immersive storytelling. We were charged to create a SocialFi, an emerging blockchain-based concept that merges social media with decentralised finance (DeFi) from A to Z while making the players know their universe better. Late ron we also built a mobile app card game in Life Beyond universe.

./ Context & Challenge
The goal was to design an interactive quest ecosystem integrating Web3 mechanics - connecting wallets, completing challenges, burning keys, and staking tokens - all while keeping a coherent and gamified experience.

./ Research & Concept Framing
We started by structuring the core user flows and identifying key engagement patterns: onboarding, quest progression, and reward claiming. The early mapping defined entry points (Hub, Navbar) and interaction zones (Quest, Forge, Flashsale).

./ Experience Mapping & Flow Refinement
From the initial architecture, we refined the user journeys around core mechanics: Connect Wallet, Invite, MCQ, Burn Keys, and Staking. Each module was designed as an independent yet connected loop to reinforce user retention.

./ Wireflow & Interaction Logic
The flow between screens was validated through low-fidelity wireflows - simulating task successions and modal transitions. This allowed us to anticipate user behavior and reduce unnecessary friction points.

./ Component Anatomy & UI System
Each interactive module followed a shared UI system for consistency - leveraging clear hierarchy, typographic scales, and reusable tokens.

./ Mockups & Prot. Behavior
High-fidelity screens explored narrative voice, character integration, and state logic (idle, success, failure). Modals were structured around clarity and progression - prioritizing comprehension and visual feedback.

./ Internal Review & Iteration
Instead of formal user testing, the system evolved through internal iterations - each cycle validated against task logic and clarity benchmarks. We focused on reducing cognitive load while preserving immersion.

./ Handoff & Dev Integration
All modules were documented for development with component specs, spacing standards, and acceptance criteria. The modular structure facilitated progressive feature delivery and future scalability.

./ Outcome & Learnings
The resulting experience provided a cohesive quest system where UX design supports both engagement and gamification. This project emphasized the importance of modular thinking and progressive disclosure in complex gamified systems.
